2 DSP add on board

The DSP add-on board is designed specifically for stmdsp. It provides the necessary circuitry for reading and producing signals, as well as some useful input and output features.

  1. A status LED to indicate device state and possible faults.
  2. Two parameter knobs (potentiometers) that allow you to adjust algorithm parameters while the algorithm is running.
  3. The USB communication port used to connect to the computer.
  4. Three 3.5mm jacks for input and output signals. These accept signals in the +/- 3.3V range. Their order matches that of the signal pins, described next.
  5. Input and output signal pins. These also accept +/- 3.3V signals. The upper/north row of pins carry the signals, while the lower/south row is for ground.

Note: The input signal ground pin is isolated to help reduce noise; therefore, a ground reference must always be provided. If the signal generator is being used as an input, connect its ground pin to the input signal ground pin.
